Mission Statement of the OBEA

The Association is committed to being an advocate for all members and protecting the integrity of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The OBEA is dedicated to providing an innovative learning community for the students in the district and working collaboratively with all members of the educational community. It is our objective to maintain a professional relationship with all who have this goal in common.

OBEA Assists New Members

The Leadership team of the OBEA is always available for new members. The Association welcomes questions from new staff regarding our Collective Bargaining Agreement and encourages members to seek information from their building Reps.

The Association Membership Chair, Jeanette Schuster can be reached if new members have questions regarding their membership status. NJEA.org also provides much information for new members related to membership, professional development and member benefits. We wish all of our new staff a great 2013-2014 school year.
